Digital Love Letter Ideas
A love letter used to mean paper, an envelope, maybe a box it eventually got kept in. A text message doesn't have that quality. It disappears into a scrollback with everything else you sent that day, including the grocery list.
Structure it like a letter, not a text
A greeting and a sign-off do more work than people expect. 'Dear favourite human,' at the top and 'with love, me' at the bottom turns three sentences into something that reads like it was written on purpose, not fired off between other things.

Write about one specific day, not everything

Do digital love letters actually get reread, or just texts that get ignored?
That mostly depends on whether they're easy to find again. A note buried in a chat with hundreds of other messages won't get reread. One kept in a dedicated place, separate from everyday texting, is far more likely to be opened again months later.
Should a digital love letter be long?
No. Three to six sentences with a clear beginning and end reads better than a long unstructured paragraph. Length isn't what makes it feel like a letter. The greeting, the sign-off, and one specific detail are what do that.
